The Pole's Card is a document that is provided to foreign citizens who have cultural, historical, family ties with Poland. The Pole's Card ≠ citizenship.

- knowledge of Polish language (basic level)
- proof of Polish descent; familiarity with Polish history and cultural customs;
- relatives with Polish citizenship (mother or father, grandmother or grandfather, great-grandmother and great-grandfather)
- possession of a Pole's Card (issued to mother or father, grandmother or grandfather)
