Permanent Residence - karta stałego pobytu
A permanent residence card is a document that allows foreigners to permanently reside within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
Permanent Residence allows foreigner to:
- stay in Poland for an unlimited period of time;
- officially work in Poland without obtaining additional permits;
- use free medical services and receive education on an equal basis with citizens of the Republic of Poland;
- take loans from local banks for business and mortgage purposes;
- participate in state programs for the acquisition of real estate;
- enter Schengen Area countries for tourism purposes;
- buy and officially register land, movable and immovable property;
- o have other rights that are practically equal to those of a citizen, with the exception of the right to vote
Basis for obtaining permanent residence permit:
- Pole's card;
- Polish descent;
- resident of the EU after 5 years of living in Poland;
- marriage with a citizen of the Republic of Poland for 3 years
